Precautions for use
Installation direction: The pressure reducing valve must be installed in strict accordance with the direction of the arrow on the valve body to keep it consistent with the direction of fluid flow. If the water quality is not clean and contains some impurities, a filter must be installed at the upstream water inlet of the pressure reducing valve (the recommended filtration accuracy is not less than 0.5mm).
Prevent water hammer hazards: In order to prevent water hammer hazards, a small expansion tank can be installed after the pressure reducing valve to prevent damage to pipes and valves. The filter must be installed in front of the water inlet pipe of the pressure reducing valve, and the expansion tank must be installed after the water outlet pipe of the pressure reducing valve.
Hot water system installation: When used in a hot water system, a check valve must be installed between the pressure reducing valve and the expansion tank to prevent hot water backflow or pressure fluctuations from affecting the pressure reducing valve, ensuring that the pressure reducing valve works normally for a long time.
Easy to operate and maintain: The valve is generally installed upright on a horizontal pipe for easy operation and maintenance.
