The Bosch Rexroth 4WE10E3X/CG24N9K4 (R900588201) is a high-performance directional spool valve designed for controlling the start, stop, and direction of flow in hydraulic systems. This solenoid-actuated valve is comprised of a durable housing, one or two wet-pin electronic solenoids, a control spool, and return springs to maintain the spool in its central or initial position when deenergized. The electronic solenoids exert force through a plunger on the control spool to shift it from its rest position to the desired end position, allowing for precise flow direction between ports. With a manual override feature, users can manually switch the valve without energizing the solenoid. The importance of filling the pressure chamber with oil is emphasized to ensure optimal functionality. The inclusion of throttle inserts can increase flow resistance within channels P, A, B, or T when necessary due to operating conditions.
The 4WE10E3X/CG24N9K4 model offers versatility with its 3 or 4-way version configuration and accommodates high-power solenoid applications. It adheres to ISO porting patterns and features AC solenoids with detachable coils that are rotatable by 90 degrees and replaceable without opening the pressure-tight chamber. Electrical connections are available as individual or central connections. This valve also comes with optional auxiliary operating devices and boasts impressive specifications such as a component series X maximum operating pressure of up to 350 bar and a maximum flow rate of up to 120 liters per minute. Users are advised that pressure peaks in tank lines connected to multiple valves may cause unintended movements of the control spool if equipped with a detent; thus separate return lines or check valves are recommended for stable operation.
