The main features of Aventic bridge rectifiers include high efficiency, low harmonic distortion and good stability. Because it utilizes the unidirectional conduction characteristics of the diode, Aventic bridge rectifiers can conduct two diodes at the same time in each AC cycle, thereby improving energy utilization and reducing power loss. In addition, by reasonably designing the diode parameters and filtering circuits, the harmonic components in the output signal can be effectively reduced to ensure that the waveform of the output DC power is relatively smooth.
Precautions for use
Choose a suitable diode: When selecting a rectifier diode, you need to consider its maximum current, maximum reverse voltage and voltage drop. For example, when the load current is 10mA, the maximum current that can flow through the diode should be above 5mA; about 2.8 times the load voltage should be the maximum reverse voltage of the diode.
Heat dissipation: Since the diode will heat up when working, especially under high current conditions, attention should be paid to heat dissipation. The stable operation of the diode can be ensured by air cooling or using a heat sink.
Anti-reverse flow design: Aventic bridge rectifier has anti-reverse flow function, which can effectively prevent the current from flowing in reverse and increase the safety of the circuit.
Filter circuit: Since the rectified voltage is a pulsating wave, it needs to be filtered in the subsequent circuit. Commonly used filtering circuits include capacitor filtering, inductor filtering and RC filtering, etc..
