Proportional valve, the full name is electro-hydraulic proportional valve, is a kind of hydraulic valve that converts the input electrical signal into force or displacement proportionally, so as to continuously control the pressure, flow and other parameters.
The proportional valve is composed of DC proportional electromagnet and hydraulic valve. The hydraulic valve part is little different from the general hydraulic valve, and the DC proportional electromagnet is different from the electromagnet used in the general solenoid valve, and the displacement output and suction output can be obtained proportional to the given current by using the proportional electromagnet. Proportional valve according to its control parameters can be divided into proportional pressure valve, proportional flow valve, proportional direction valve three categories.
Product Classification
The classification according to the proportional valve control mode refers to the classification according to the electrical and mechanical conversion mode in the pilot control valve of the proportional valve, and the electrical control part has a variety of forms such as proportional electromagnet, torque motor, DC servo motor, etc.
(1) Electromagnetic electromagnetic refers to the proportional valve using a proportional electromagnet as an electric-mechanical conversion element, and the proportional electromagnet converts the input current signal into force and displacement mechanical signal output. Then control the pressure, flow and direction parameters.
(2) Electric type Electric type refers to the proportional valve using a DC servo motor as an electric-mechanical conversion element, and the electric signal that the DC servo motor will input. Convert to rotating motion speed, and then through the screw nut, gear rack or gear CAM reduction device and change mechanism, output force and displacement, further control of hydraulic parameters.
(3) electro-hydraulic type refers to the proportional valve with the structure of torque motor and nozzle baffle as the pilot control stage. Input different electrical signals to the torque motor, and output displacement or angular displacement through the baffle connected with it (sometimes the armature of the torque motor is the baffle), change the distance between the baffle and the nozzle, so that the oil flow resistance of the nozzle is changed, and then control the input parameters.
